Krishnagar Cathedral Charitable Social Society (KCCSS) an independent organization functions under the diocese of Krishnagar and takes care of the Social works of the diocese in Nadia & Murshidabad districts since 1972.

KCCSS has been engaged more than four and half decades working for social transformation wherein the marginalized & deprived sections of community are socially, economically and politically empowered to lead life of security, dignity, and prosperity and this has been done through various activities which include education, health care, Child Survival, Water and Sanitation, Disaster Relief, skill developmental training, income generation schemes, empowering the livelihood of farmers and climate adaptive agricultural systems, advocacy and to  improve the general welfare of the disadvantaged communities, various other interventions relative to youth empowerment, promoting women’s right and emancipation of child labour and child development advocacy and Social Changes to the people of our working areas.

KCCSS emphasizes on innovations for Community Social Enterprises to uplift standards of life and improve Socio-economic status of our people keeping in mind its carefully formulated HR. Finance, Child Protection, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) Gender and Anti –Sexual harassment policies its area of operation. All the Projects we undertake are geared towards facilitating changes in communities and transforming of individuals lives in positive direction.

KCCSS looks forward to building partnerships/networks/ linkages with other development agencies and government departments so as to enhance our progress.

KCCSS team deserve all commendation and appreciation for their devotion, dedication, hard work put in by them and the contribution they have made towards the development, welfare and progress of the organization and keeping the rails moving on the track despite all the odds that they had to encounter.
